Walling Grove Projects
Posted on Jun 2nd, 2015

UPDATE: The ramp work is complete on the dock. The dock is open for business. I would like to thank Rod and the rest of the dock committee for their work on this project and all of the work they do at the dock.

Hello Neighbors,
I am pleased to announce we will have two new projects starting in Walling Grove this summer: The repaving of Walling Grove Road, and a new gangway (ramp) on the dock. We do not have exact start dates yet, but I wanted to provide some details to the community.

The dock will be closed for a few days while the old ramp is removed, the dock repaired, and the gangway installed. Please be careful while the repairs are in progress. I will make an announcement when the work starts and is finished.

Walling Grove Road will be repaved from the four-way stop sign to the intersection of Walling Grove Road and Old Plantation. We expect the job to take two days, and anticipate one week notice before work begins. Traffic will be allowed on Walling Grove Road during the work; however, I ask that residents who do not live on Walling Grove Road do not drive on it while the road is being repaved.
I would like to thank John Gatch and the Roads and Drainage Committee, and Rod Kesting and the Dock Committee for all of their hard work to get these projects underway.

Best,
Eric Meek
