Board Elections

Hello Everyone,
It is that time of year again for the Home Owners Association to solicit volunteers to fill openings on the Board. In November, we will have 2 open positions that need to be filled.
Participating on the Board is a great way to get involved in our community, meet your neighbors and help keep Walling Grove running smoothly. Board terms are 3 years.
The Board typically meets every 6 weeks in which Walling Grove business is conducted. In between the scheduled meetings, most communication and business is conducted via email. If there is a need for an unscheduled meeting between the normal meetings, a special meeting can be held.
Board members are the governing committee who administer our By Laws and Covenants. The Board also overseas several committees, such as the grounds, architectural review, social and dock committees; all of these are supported by community volunteers.
We are soliciting volunteers for the Board now through September 16th. If you are interested in participating on the Board, please email a short introduction of who you are to Board@wallinggrove.com no later than September 16th. A list of candidates will be compiled and mailed out with the ballots and our annual meeting package. Community members will vote for their candidate of choice. The elected members will be announced at our annual meeting on November 16th.
